Matt Gehring is the SVP of Growth at Rothy’s, the wildly popular San Francisco-based shoe company. Matt is a seasoned marketer and Marine Corps Veteran with over 18 years of experience, leading growth and lifecycle marketing for rapidly scaling ecommerce businesses at every level.
With a focus on user acquisition, retention, analytics, and site optimization, Matt relies on a passion for melding data, psychology and customer experience to identify growth opportunities. Prior to joining Rothy’s, Matt drove growth at both new and established ecommerce companies such as Hims, Touch of Modern, Society6, and Provide Commerce (Proflowers brands).
Daren Hull has been trying to improve the buying experience for over 20 years. As Chief Customer Officer he is responsible for the revenue channels, marketing, and customer teams at Vera Bradley. Previously, he was focused on conceiving and growing DTC businesses for companies such as Amazon, Guthy-Renker, Williams-Sonoma, and L’Oreal. His work has received honors from the likes of ERA to L2, and he was named one of the original Shoptalk Heretics.
Jennifer Gootman is the Vice President of Sustainability & Corporate Responsibility for Williams-Sonoma, Inc. (WSI), leading social and environmental impact across the company’s eight brands. Jennifer started with West Elm in 2013 when the brand made its first public commitment to scale handcrafted product. She went on to launch the company’s Fair Trade Factory program in 2014, later overseeing that expansion to the WSI family of brands. She has overseen WSI’s Social Compliance auditing and monitoring program since 2016 and oversees WSI’s commitment to Worker Wellbeing and its goal to positively impact 100,000 workers in its supply chain by 2020. In 2020, Jennifer’s scope was expanded to cover environmental impact.
